Commercial Producer

Our progressive and growing Insurance Brokerage is looking for a sales professional to join our Commercial Lines team working out of our Hamilton office. The Commercial Producer role is specific to commercial insurance sales to new clients, and requires a solid knowledge base of commercial insurance. If you have a proven sales background and are looking for a promising career where the sky is truly the limit, then we want to hear from you.

The successful candidate will have: proven sales track record; above average service and communication skills, planning and organization abilities, and the capability of meeting retention and growth goals.

Qualifications:

  • A RIBO license in good standing is required.
  • Working towards CAIB and/or CIP is preferred.
  • Competence in Word and Excel helpful.
  • Over 5 years experience in Commercial Lines.
  • Experience with TAM (The Agency Manager) is an asset.

Personal Lines CSR

We are currently looking for a Personal Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR) with a minimum of 3 years experience, RIBO licensed and a desire to continue their insurance career in a highly energetic and positive environment .

The successful candidate must have a strong work ethic and organization skills, be a team player and have ability to work in a fast paced insurance brokerage.

Above average service and computer skills along with excellent verbal and written communication skills. (TAM) The Agency Manager Broker Management System, Compu-quote and the company portals would be an asset.

Personal Lines Inside Sales Broker

We are seeking an experienced Personal Lines Sales Broker. We offer a professional atmosphere, a competitive salary, performance based bonus and an excellent benefits package.

The role of the Personal Lines – Inside Sales Broker will be to sell Automobile and Property related products by:

  • Answering inbound calls and online inquiries
  • Making outbound calls
  • Developing a business and prospect marketing plan to encourage new sales development
  • Develop and market new business ideas while building a data base of contacts and networking opportunities
  • Provide potential clients with exceptional service, professional advice and accurate quotes with the market that best suits their needs
  • Respond to company and or client concerns/inquires in a timely and professional manner
  • Working in partnership with our in house underwriting team
  • Fully completing all applicable documentation with accuracy upon closing date
  • Networking with producers from our other divisions, namely Commercial and Financial Services to achieve cross selling goals and build relationships

Qualifications:

  • Proven sales track record
  • Self-starter with the ability to establish sales and retention goals
  • Strong communication, presentation and relationship skills
  • RIBO license and other industry qualification such as CAIB, CIP etc.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Personal Lines Sales experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High level of computer skills, knowledge and previous experience working with Applied Systems (TAM) and Compu-quote is an asset
  • A positive attitude and high level of energy
  • Have the ability to work in an environment that fosters team spirit and goal setting
